Details:

I bought Face Fashion because I never learned how to do makeup properly. Sure, I had a mom to teach me, but I just never bothered with it. One day, I decided to start adding makeup to my anime girls, and I did not know hot to go about it. This book helped me a lot in that department. It gets returned a lot because people buy it for the class of the writer and then return it. We all know how the University has a way of killing all the joy out of the things we once loved.

We all start desiring to be doctor or astronauts and then we end up hating the profession because of all those pointless prerequisites classes, that do not even have to do with your major. Anyhow, this book is useful for all the self taught artist, who neither have the time, or the patience to go to school. You can read through this 500 page book in one sit in. It is mostly pictures, with easy to follow instructions. The book first teaches you how to draw the nine heads face. It then teaches you how to do the makeup, followed by the fashion hairdo.

  • Is the book all in color or does it have black and white drawings too?

The book includes both black and white drawings and color pencils too.

  • Is there any skill requirement for using this book?

The book starts at the basics when dealing with the drawings. It assumes that you do not know how to draw a face.

  • What sort of language does this book use? Can any person understand it? Or is it written in some clunky fashion Lingo?

The book is pretty easy to understand. It has a glossary around the end were you can look up whatever term you don't understand. It is mostly pictures, so even if you don't get it, you can understand the gist of the book by just looking at the images.

  • How heavy is this book?

The book is heavy enough to crush a walnut. Then again, this is a bit of an exaggeration. I do require both my hands to carry it. It is a pretty heavy 300 something page book. With each new edition it gets a little heavier.

  • What sort of how to instructions does this book contain?

The how to instructions focuses on drawing faces, doing the make up and the different fashion ethnicities.
