Koh-i-noor is one of the largest producers of stuff in the world. Among those stuff, I found items that applied for my purposes. Originally, the company was founded in 1790, in Vienna. It eventually relocated to Ceske Bodejovice in 1848. Once there, the company started producing graphite leads. Their art products were showcased in the in the world exhibitions from 1855 to 1905. By then, there were better methods of promoting one’s products. Over the past 200 years, the company koh-i-noor has diversified its assets. One cannot be a one trick pony forever. Aside from pencil leads, they see products for artists, for schools and for offices. The company is still expanding and expanding its repertoire. They have a website, but they mostly sell through retailers like Amazon.
