• Last winter, my brother bought these adorable coloring pencils for me. So, I can assure you they make a great gift, for I was rather happy to receive them. They are made of wood, which seems a bit redundant. They were designed for coloring books, but you can use it for regular drawings. 

• I already have other coloring pencils, so I will have to make my way into using these coloring pencils. People have the bad habit of being like a butterfly with their art supplies. They go one by one and never use the ones they actually own.
• The colors provided by this set have a lovely smooth, colors, and it resembled print. They can also be used for writing and sketching. They were designed to be fade resistant. 
• For some reason, this product comes with a chocking hazard warning. So, I felt compelled to inform you that these pencils were not made for children under 3 years of age. You know that toddlers rarely get fed anything good, as such they are always eating their coloring pencils.

  Yes, the pencils do come pre sharpened. 

• Does the box resist impact well?

  The box does protect the coloring pencils rather well. 

• Does this set come with a coloring book?

  No, this set does not come with a coloring book, thought it was designed with such books in mind. 

• Does these coloring pencils work well on wood?

  The coloring pencils were mostly designed for paper. I don't think wood would be a good option, try paint markers.
