Hollow Knight Bretta and Zote Barbie Movie Fanart

Today, I made a new Hollow Knight fanart. I blended it with the Barbie movie. Barbie and Ken are being playing with Bretta and Zote the Mighty.
I chose his mighty form because this scene is taking place inside Bretta’s fantasy. She is playing with her little dolls, while she fantasizes going on adventures with Zote.
Zote in the real world is just as insecure in Ken. Just like Ken, Zote also likes to philosophize about big topics he doesn’t understand.
Instead of a car, I had the characters riding the last Stag. I added Barbie colors to the stag’s exoskeleton.
I went for an 80s vibe for his form. I even gave him pink earrings. In doing so, it looks like he belongs to the Barbie World.
At first, I was just trying to mimic the movie poster. Overtime, the fanart evolved into what you see here.
The next thing I did was dress up Bretta and Zote. I used the Barbie dolls as references. You do not see their entire outfit in the movie poster.
The Stag isn’t something that you can control with a steering wheel, so, the scene had to get changed in order to make sense in the Hollow Knight world.
I chose the desert for the background, in order to mimic the journey seen in the movie.
All in all, it was quite the fun project. There really isn’t much to say about it. It is a Hollow Knight Barbie fanart.
They are wrapped in plastic, it's fantastic. Come on Bretta, let’s go, Party. Do you get it?
