Bayside used to be one of my favorite places to visit. As of late, not so much. It has gotten a bit too crowded. Whenever a place gets crowded a get a bit paranoid. Normally, people would call it social anxiety. However, this being the US we have come to be suspicious in crowded area. For example, in the Dolphin Mall a douched used firecrackers to steal a watch. The people ran away in a panic. Needless to say, a couple of people got injured by a scared crowd running away. Another thing I miss about Bayside were the stores....
Sailing in Miami Beach
Today, I have been working on the front covers for my poetry books. I did not want to leave the website without any work. So, here is a cute picture of a boat. When you are in the beach, the boats helps to create more waves. In deeper areas, it is a good way to drown. If you keep walking straight, suddenly it gets extremely deep, like a hole opened up before you. Most people do not know just how deep the water truly is. It is rare that the water looks transparent. Kite Sailing Miami Beach
Kite Sailing is very common in Miami Beach. However, it is rare for the conditions to be just right. Usually, I see one or two guys doing the sport. In the day the photo was taken, there was a like a dozen people practicing the sport. It was quite the lovely sight. A lot of people don't know the meaning of the flags by the coast guards. Sunglasses in Miami Beach
In Miami Beach, I was fooling around with the camera. I decided to put on glasses on the lens and see what it looked like. Here is the results. Playing around with lens filters adds plenty of cookie effects. From time to time, they make the photo better. I cannot tell if this made the photo any better. It certainly looks differently. Schooner Sailing in Miami Beach
Miami Beach is such a great looking place. Pity that it has jerks making decisions about the place. Recently, there was a law that passed that hotels could make beaches private. They own everything piece of beach before them, except for the wet sand. The hilarious thing about it is that you need to get through their wet sand to making it to the beach. There is a hotel in like every square patch of sand. So, now Miami Beach is only for foreigners staying in the hotels, not for the locals. It's a good thing I took plenty of...
