Anime Girl Playing the Adungu Music Instrument
This is my latest anime drawing of a maiden playing a weird looking music instrument. The adungu ,visually speaking, is a bit of a crossbreed between a harp and a drum. It has a sleek, charming design. The instrument was created by the Alur folks of Northwestern Uganda. It can have between seven to ten strings. They come in various sizes, and dimensions. The instrument is made of a hollow piece of wood, covered in leather, and woven at the center. It follows a diatonic scale. It can be played alone, or in a group. There is no standardized way...
My BJD Dolls with Some of the Clay Props I made
The year is like almost over. It is nice to think that things will go well next year, but I don’t think so. If you can’t rely on the world to bring you happiness, then you must look within. Human is the only known animal that can amuse itself with absolutely nothing. The realm of the mind alone, can provide a fellow with the peace they so desperately seek. In order for one to be truly happy, a person must isolate themselves mentally from the problems of the world. Yes, everything is on fire, and there is nothing you can...
Slide Whistle Anime Instrument Drawing
As of lately, I have been trying to practice a bit with clay. I am trying to get decent enough to make props for the doll show. Among the props, I want the dolls to play bizarre musical instruments. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Anyhow, while I am still in the planning stages, I can at least show you the progress of the music instrument anime drawings. This one is the slide whistle. A lot of kids like to play with this musical instrument. It works a bit like the Trombone. The modern slide whistle was...
Sheng Anime Music Instrument Drawing
This is one of a couple of nice anime drawing of mine. It is themed after a lovely musical instrument called Sheng. I like it cause it looks like a pipe. The maiden I drew wears a nice Mori type of dress. The red hair was also nice as well, with the cute green eyes. As for the instrument, it is a reed free instrument. It is one of the oldest Chinese musical instruments. It was made around 1100 BC. I like saying BC, cause I am not a big fan of changing something I am familiar with. I also...
Anime Girl Playing the Serpent Drawing
After thinking a bit, I decided to show you a nice anime drawing of the Serpent. It is a bass wind instrument. It is pretty obvious why it is called a Serpent. It is descendant of both the tuba and the cornet. So, it has a little bit of both. It has the mouthpiece like a brass instrument; while the holes are more akin to woodwind instruments. It is a weird chimera in every sense of the word. The range is usually around the C level. The instrument was invented by Canon Guillaume in France, in 1590. It was meant...
