Habemus Bell Peppers
Today I went to check up on my lovely bell peppers and I was delighted to see that I had two fruits. It is the first time all my toils have yielded fruit, both in the figurative and in the literal sense. In celebration of it, I took two photos of my lovely Bell peppers. For my little crop, the tropical storm was a blessing. The winds helped my bell pepper plants get pollinated. Look at how cute they look. They are simply little darlings. I wish more folks would know the joy of growing tiny little plants. Being a...
Small Golden Climbers Photo
This is a photo I took some time ago. It is a little late in the game, but I hope you enjoy it. The weather has been nice, and bright for being indoors for a bit. I think everything will get better when the weather gets wet. Rain just seems to make everything better. The pool is now looking fine indeed. We might go out there to take a dip, when the weather heats up. I was going to write something yesterday, but there was something thickening my eye. You remember that silly song? It was in one of those...
When Life Gives you a Lemon Tree you Plant it
This is the photo I took of my lemon tree. I planted it in the winter, before the nonsense started. You know what I am referring to. I do not want to bum people out. Mother has been asking me to stay at home more often than usual. I just hope for a bit of rain, so that the plants don’t start dying on me. At least there is some semblance of security because of where we live. I live in a rural area, and so, there are not a lot of plague people. I just want things to end,...
David’s Garden Seeds
I recently got into the gardening game. At first, I used to get the plants fully grown. That turned out to be a bit expensive, so I decided to try out some seeds. After trying out different seeds, I gave David’s Garden Seeds a chance. This company has some great flowering seeds, at quality price. The ones that turned out great for me were the sunflowers. I obtained a random batch, a little bit of this and that. Since Florida has no winter, it felt like a good a time as any to plant them. The first batch was planted...
Much Ado about My Saplings
Today I wanted to show you some of my new little plants. I have been making the effort to grow them from seeds. The ones shown in this photo are all sour oranges. I am also working on a mango seed. There is also a small garlic that we got in the Publix. Mother had used most of it. The remainder I planted to see if it would grow back, and it did. I planted it directly in the dirt, and it is doing just fine. As for the seeds, I started growing them on the cotton. Every so often...
