I recently got into the gardening game. At first, I used to get the plants fully grown. That turned out to be a bit expensive, so I decided to try out some seeds. After trying out different seeds, I gave David’s Garden Seeds a chance.

This company has some great flowering seeds, at quality price. The ones that turned out great for me were the sunflowers. I obtained a random batch, a little bit of this and that. Since Florida has no winter, it felt like a good a time as any to plant them.

The first batch was planted last December, after two months, the tiny plants have a significant size. It is still going to be another month before they look like sunflowers.

Still, the flowering plants look pretty great. Sunflowers are pretty easy to manage. I like that the batch is non-gmo. I am not a big fan of genetically modified seeds. The way a seed comes out should be left to mother nature.

It is important to promote non-gmo seeds, to tackle the practice of genetic manipulation. It is sheer arrogance to think that mankind can make it better than Nature.

So, if you want seeds that have not been manipulated by scientist, then David’s Garden Seeds is the place to shop. Aside from flowering seeds, there are also vegetable seeds, and succulents too.

There are also supplies for doing tomato grafting. Grafting is the fussing of two pants together. Any self-respecting gardener need to try it every once in a while. Aside from the supplies, the store also has useful gardening information related to plants, and the tools for growing them.

Above is a photo of one two of my little sunflower plants. still have a long way to go, but it has made a decent start. I hope this photo helps you in your purchasing decision.
