Dadeland Mall Britto Store Travel
I was roaming about the Dadeland mall when I saw a Britto store. The place opened recently. It seemed like a good place to window shop. It has figurines, paintings and a cool chess set. I took both video and photos. My mom also bought some mats. You know, the thing you put our food on top. You can also frame it. Anyhow, I hope that you find amusing the few photos I took. I looked at the paintings from up close. They have brush strokes. It was interesting to observe Britto’s painting technique. He is a talented painter. There...
Mojitos Revisited Foodie Review
This weekend I went to Mojitos with my family. It had been a while since I visited the restaurant. I wanted to see if the food had changed. We went a bit early. So, there wasn’t a lot of folks. Most visit the restaurant later at night. They play live music late at night. We went there for the food. I only bother to get out of the house to eat at a restaurant. Going outside once a week, it is what gets me from Monday to Friday. I like the decorations in that place a lot. I...
Key West Museums and Other Sights
Today, I felt like writing a little travel blog. It has been forever since I got out of the house. On the bright side, I have gotten a lot of streaming done. The food has been getting super expensive. We cannot go to any restaurant without the food costing 100 bucks. Heck. Even the junk food now costs 50 bucks. I remember the time when 5 bucks was all that was needed to have a decent meal. This also included dessert. Now, everything just costs more. The hotel we like to visit in the Parrot Keys...
Colombia Travel Cartagena Tourism 2017
I wanted to rant about Colombia, Cartagena. This is the first country that I visited as a tourist. We went with a big group. It has been a while since I traveled. So, I felt like looking at the old photos. I might as well rant about what I remember. It all started with a bus ride. After a while, we arrived to the hotel. It was called Caribbean. The pillows were made of stone. The bed was made of wood. I am just exaggerating a little. The beds were rather hard. It made it difficult...
Cantina Catrina Revisited Foodie Restaurant
Last week, we were in a taco type of mood. So, we went to Cantina Catrina in Dadeland Mall. This restaurant is themed after Dia de lost Muertos. It has a lot of colorful skull people figurines in key locations. I took a photo of their décor for you to admire. At the end of the day, the food is the most important thing to seek in a restaurant. We got a chip appetizer. My mother had a margarita and my brother a Virgin Pina Colada. I had a soda. I ordered Quesadillas, and my family had tacos....
