Ink Art May: Still Life, Mandala and Abstract
I did some new ink arts for May. They are a random assortment of illustrations. I am painting on the other side of the ink art paper. That is the good thing about it. It can handle a lot of usage. The first lot are still lives of fruits. The other ones are abstract art and some beautiful roses. I am trying to use up all my ink arts. I find watercolors more amusing, but whatever. I hope that you find my new works of art amusing. I am making decent progress with my vampire book. I am way past...
April Ink Arts and Henna Patterns
I wanted to show you some pretty new arts I made. It had been a while since I did henna patterns. I felt like bringing them back. Here are the first of many that I plan to make in the near future. I always draw them with acrylic markers. The look rather pretty against the black paper It helps that I am able to draw on both side of the black paper. It saves me a lot of money. The same thing can be said of my ink art papers. I am now painting on the other side of the...
March Ink Art With Fireworks for Good Fun
I made some lovely ink arts. The first painting are some pretty fireworks. They are an abstract depiction of fireworks using ink. I hope that this work makes you smile. The other are flags made with ink. I embellished them a little with metallic inks. I hope that this work makes you smile. There are some videos of these arts coming out in my Artsy Sister Youtube channel. Do not forget to give a like and subscribe.
Spring Flowers and Moths Ink Arts
I did some new ink arts. I was in a spring type of mood. I decided to paint beautiful moths and flowers. Moths are just as pretty as butterflies. Some are even more fancy. In any case, I painted them with ink. I used the other side of the ink paper. I am running a bit of a shoe string budget. It works well that the ink paper can handle so much abuse. The other works of art are bouquets of flowers. I tried to keep the colors well balanced. I also used a healthy amount of metallic paints. They...
Ink Art: Dragonflies and Ladybugs
I did some new ink arts. They are dragonflies and ladybugs. They seemed like something fun to paint. I painted them with both white and black paper. I am now painting on the other side of my ink papers. I am just a little bit frugal as of lately. It works well that the paper can handle paint on both sides. The dragonflies I painted are Blue Dasher, Halloween Pennant, Eight spotted skimmer, Roasete skimmer, Green Darner and others. The ladybugs are all named after their spots. I guess the scientists overthought more the dragonflies names. I hope that this...
