Disgaea Polpol Pirika with Penguin Fanart
I was thinking about making a Disgaea fanart. After looking at a bunch of paintings, I felt that this was a fun idea. There is a circus character in one of the Disgaea games. I felt like making a fanart of this character. She is Polpol or Pirika. I have her walking of her circus penguins. The original reference painting had a clown walking a duck. I made a new Hollow knight fanart. The theme was horror movie posters. I did a poll in my Artsy Sister Youtube. The winner of that poll was Army of Darkness. I made a new Hollow knight Greek fanart. The idea sounded good in my head. Though, the execution is a bit simple. Anyhow, I did a poll in Youtube to decide the next fanart. I wanted to make my first Dot Hack Gu fanart. After overthinking the fanart, this is what I made. I found this funny Norman Rockwell painting. I felt that this captured the essence of Atoli and Haseo’s “relationship” or whatever. Atoli is reading Haseo’s palm. He isn’t very amused by what she is saying. I did a new Hollow knight survey. I asked my fans to pick their favorite dance from among 4 choices. The winner was Flamenco. I used two photos as reference. After looking at all the characters, I decided to make the Mantis Lords the flamenco dancers. They seemed to embody the passion of the dancers. Flamenco is a pretty passionate dance.
