Today, I finally got around to putting up the third bjd doll photoshoot. The doll was made by Dearmine.
It is the Vivien model. In this photoshoot, I have the doll with a black wig and a blonde wig.
This doll has the same head dimensions as my Dollmore ballerina doll. It is convenient when dolls have similar head sizes and body types.
The body is a little bit unusual. I am still trying to see what other outfits will fit my cat doll, for variety’s sake.
For the time being, I focused my photoshoot on one dress and different wigs.
She has lovely blue eyes that pop when I take the photos. The doll is also quite light.
This makes her easy to balance out and to pose. The heels provide a bit of frustration as far as posing.
She doesn’t have too much stability, but her low weight makes her easy to balance. I used a bike as a prop.
The bike is pretty heavy, so I can kinda lean the doll against it. This prop alone provided a decent amount of interesting photo opportunities.
I really do not have a lot of props to work with. I rely on the cool poses to take interesting photos.
The background at least looks pretty cool. Moons and cat combine well, visually. I went a little overboard with the size of the moon.
Still, it looks fun around the edges. Aside from taking cat bjd photos, I have been getting around to drawing a bit again.
I am trying to finish up my drawing series featuring music instrument. I only need to draw two more instruments.
Once I finish the drawings, I am going to get around to making the blogs about the specific instruments.
Today, I am also going to try to finish up my Scary Cat book. Once it is published, I might try to get started on a new volume of the manga, The Furies.
The new book is progressing. I have about 60,000 words already into the new book.
I am going for the fat book format. I still need another 100,000 words to add to the book. This is about the rough length of the other two books.
The first one was actually a lot longer, and it got a few rewrites here and there. Mainly, the first book has been shrinking in size.
Some of the dialogue was a bit too long. I sometimes read through the other books to make small edits here and there.
Everything is a work in progress, but one cannot spend an eternity in the rewriting department.
If one stays there too long, then the book will never be done. I like better to write, than to edit.
Then again, that is pretty obvious. Once I have a clear idea, I can progress with the book at a decent rate.
IT all started with a weird a dream. Eventually, it developed into something more concrete. The Sacred Mask has its roots in the dream world.
It is amassing what type of inspiration is just creeping in that world. Writers should try sleeping more.
I make a lot more progress by writing during the daytime. If I write at night, I start falling asleep soon enough as I put my hand on the keyboard.
Most of my early books I wrote during the morning, while going to University. I think I ranted enough for one day about my writing progress.
I am a little bit hungry, and I need to work out a bit. It is important to stay active, in spite of everything.
I hope you have fun looking at my new cat ball jointed doll photos. I had a lot of fun taking these nice photos.
I tried to keep all the poses varied. This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, Bye and God bless.
