Claymore has 24 action packed episodes. It is overdue for a remake. Mostly, it is because the manga kept going while the anime show ended early. Do like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Just remake it by sticking more faithfully to the manga.
Fairy Tail is just a lot of action. The plot is only there to move the characters between action set pieces. It is almost as long as One Piece. Gate is an Isekai anime show. Heck, this anime show popularized the troupe.
Hundreds of imitators followed. Kaze no Stigma is a family affair among elemental magic users. It also has an enemies to lovers subplot. Madoka Magica has only 12 episodes, but they are all gold.
It shows the value of quality over quantity. Magi is inspired on 1001 Nights. Overlord features an OP main character dealing with weirdoes in another world. Record of Londoss War was the Japanese answer to Dungeons and Dragons.
They created the fantasy cliché of a blonde elf maiden, who is inexplicably in love with the main character. Slayers has a lot of episodes. It is thrives in the comedy and chemistry of the main characters.
