Slifer the Sky Dragon Watercolor Painting Fanart

I made a new Yugioh card fanart. This is Slifer the Sky Dragon. He was the boss card of Yami, during the battle city tournament. He also used it a lot in the Ancient Egypt Arc. I grew up watching the cartoon.

Slifer is one of the first Yugioh cards that I sketched. I would sketch Yugioh cards when I was in high school. It was a good way to practice drawing. I didn’t have another fancy. It was just print paper and my mechanical pencil.

 Years later, I felt like making the fanart again. This time I used watercolor instead of pencil. I am still using the mechanical pencil for the sketching portion. I then draw over it with waterproof fineline pen.

 I erase the pencil lines, before adding the watercolor. I first made the background. I added the shading with pure black watercolor. For the color, I used red and orange.
