Yesterday, I got around to making this little number. It has been quite a while since I made pretty anime drawings. I made it for a youtube video. I spent the entire night trying to angle the camera just right. Close to the end, I got it just right. It took me about half an hour to complete the drawing.
I made it with Strathmore mixed media paper. When I was erasing, the pens were still wet. It was pretty annoying around the edges. The pencil in the end helped to refine the rest of the drawing. Even when you make a mistake, you should not give up on your drawing.
I also completed a new front cover drawing for my manga. It is still on the woodworks. The issue is that the Hollow Knight happened. Now, we are all really distracted. It is the holidays. We are not particularly focused. Still, it does help to practice around the edges. This brings me to my cute ballerina.
She is wearing a silly dress that I designed. One day, I felt like designing dresses for ballerinas based on birds. I am mainly using the colors of those birds. I also integrated the hair and makeup as part of the design. I have been reading a lot of fashion books. I got a real nice one for Santa Claus.
I am still wiggling through the book. It is a heavy read. It is heavy because the book weights a lot. It has about 400 pages. It is giving me ideas for when I write my own how to book. It seems like something useful to do with my time. I am still working up the energy to do so. The issue is that I am also working on my novels.
I am also always doing a little backlinking and all that nonsense. The work of a website developer never rest, except when the Hollow Knight is involved. My brother plays the game more than me. I have a mind to play the game from the start on my lonesome to see what I discover.
Still, there is something nice about working with your bro to complete a task. Most people do not do the teamwork thing right. The main issue is that teamwork sucks. There is always a douche not pulling his weight, and he drags down everyone.
It has always been so in all the classes I ever took. This is also the reason why I am doing this website thing by my lonesome. The only person I have to one up or takedown is myself. So far, things are going well. I think this is about it for now. I hope you find my drawing adorable and useful.
