New Beautiful Anime Watercolor Painting
I was ruminating on a lot of pointless matters. I will not bother you with it. I am just a little bit distracted. The painting is another chapter image. It features the protagonist talking with his brother and two other his mates. I do not want to go too much into plot development. The book is already done, and I am just waiting for the chapter images in order to publish it. The costumes all are all historically accurate, down to the minor swirling detail. Still, they do not belong to the same era. It is my fantasy book, and...
Anime Girl in a Costume from Flanders circa 1630
Flanders is no longer a country. It is just a municipality or something in the Kingdom of Belgium. As of today, there is a strong movement within the country for Flanders to become its own thing again. When I mention the outfits, I refer to their historical names. A country named Flanders did exist during the baroque period. The place is still there. The main difference is that they are no longer their own state. Having control of one’s country is very important. Many a times, the government favors their own favorite places. This was more obvious during Brazil’s history....
Anime Drawing of a Victorian maiden circa 1850
This is one of my many cute maidens in pretty dresses. Since I was little, I used to fill up my notebook with crude renditions of maidens in cute dresses. None of these notebooks survived the moves. Now, I finally have enough space to have something that resembles an artist studio. My house has an extra room that we ended up turning into an office, slash studio. I rarely hang out there because the lighting there is rather weak. It is mainly for storage purposes. The light is pretty strong in the main room of the house. I get plenty...
Cake Spanish Girl circa 1650
This is another one of the cute dresses I drew. In Spain, during the baroque period it was common for princesses to dress like today’s modern date cakes. I went through a lot of trouble in rendering the small details. I also added a little bit of makeup on the maiden. I had just gotten some pastel pencils, and I wanted to try them out. The pastel pencils were Derwent, as well as the pencils I used to decorate most of the dress. The pen sections were drawn with Staedtler pens. The skin lines were drawn with a Prismacolor pen....
Much Ado About Graphite
This is one of the last high quality pencil drawings I ever bothered to make. I stopped making pencil drawings as soon as I got to University. I was working on making my first graphic novel. As such, I did not have time to spend on leisure drawings. The drawing features my two favorite Yugioh cards. It took me like a two months to complete the drawing. You can see all the fancy details and the like. One can easily say that I was a bit of a fan. One has to like something a lot to pour a lot...
