This is a lovely little sketchpad set I bought last winter. As seen by the photos, I have been making use of it to make my fancy dress collections. Since I was small, I would randomly make little notebooks featuring people in cute dresses. Now, that I am older, I decided to get more serious with it. The paper takes both pen and coloring pencil rather well. 

I have also drawn some pages using markers only. It has been a year, and the drawings have maintained the same consistency. The pen tends to bleed through, so only draw with them on one side of the paper. I never had it damage another paper. So, I can at least verify most of the claims made by Leda Art supply. 

Another interesting aspect has to do with the pencils itself. It only takes one pass, for the paper to capture the hues of the pencil. Normally, with other papers, I would have to give several passes with the coloring pencil. I recommend this sketchpad. It makes for a nice little bulk buy.

• How strong is the cover of the book?

  Well, the cover bends, along with the paper. Though the surface, is somewhat thick. Along with the strap, it protects the covers rather well. 

• What sort of mediums work well with the paper?

  The paper works well with both pencils, crayons and  markers. I know cause I have used all three in my drawings. 

• How white is the paper?

  The paper is naturally white, which mean it is slightly grey. Real cute indeed. 

• Does the doll come included with the set?

  Everyone knows that the model doesn't come with the car. And so no, the doll doesn't come included with the sketchbooks.

• How does the book open? Does it curve or stay straight?

  The paper bends when you open the book. Its a bit annoying to try to keep the pages straight. I suggest clasps.
