Details: This is a nice Liquitex range. It works well with other acrylic mediums. The Varnish protects the paints from water and ultraviolet light. It also gives a nice sheen finish. It is also archival quality. When it is get, it has a nice translucent color. It dries clear however. It doesn't discolor with time. It can also be used with spray paint. It works for both exterior and interior. It can work in both interior and indoors as well. Always apply a final varnish once the acrylic paint. The paint must be dried after for 78 hours, before adding an acrylic Varnish. It must be applied with a brush or a spray. Applying it with a sponge or rolling them won't work. Also, be careful with the weather. It doesn't work nicely under 60 degree Fahrenheit. As you can see, I have been using this Varnish on wood. It works just dandy with any type of acrylic paint.

    It sticks on most woods and the like.

  • Will this also work with oil paints and the like?

    The oil paint is not good for acrylic varnishes and the like.

    It is mostly for non chalky types of paints, that do not have plenty of residuals and the like. 

  • Does this work nice with watercolors and the like?

    The varnish is more for the acrylics and the like. Watercolors not so much. 

  • Does this Varnish work well on ceramics?

    It clings to most surfaces, including ceramics.
