Details:

This is a nice little set of art brushes. As of now, these are the only paint brushes that I use. The photos I took show you how much usage I have given them. I personally use them for acrylics. The retain a lot of paint. I also water the acrylics down to turn them into watercolors. The brushes also work well on other surfaces. I used these brushes to paint that ceramic figurine. The short handle works well for me. I have the habit of painting a bit too close to the canvas. I tend to stain my hands a lot when painting.

• Is that a real skull?

  No, that is just a random rock that was carved in a way to resemble a skull. I got it in a store in Tulum. 

• What is nylon is it like regular hair?

  Nylon is an artificial fabric. It is thought and lightweight. It is used for many things, including clothing. 

• What's the best way to clean these brushes?

  I clean it with water and dishwater soap. Other people prefer specialized cleaning solutions related to each type of paint. Acetone also works just dandy. 

• What sort of surfaces work well with these brushes?

  Aside from paint faces, it works well on paper, canvas and ceramic surfaces. 

• Can I use this set for something aside from face painting?

  I use this painting set with my acrylics. I did not use it to do face painting. So, I can say with confidence that you can use it whichever way you so desire. 

• Does this set of brushes come used or are they all new? Cause they look used in the picture.

  The one shown in the photo is the brush set that I own. You will be getting one that is fresh and new.
