Tsuba/Guard:zinc alloy Tsuba (guard). The habaki (blade collar) is a one-piece brass construction.Two seppas(spacer) secure the Tsuba.
Tsuka:hard wooden core wrapped with white genuine ray skin samegawa and green synthetic silk Ito, the fuchi and kashira are made from zinc alloy. The handle is fixed by two mekugi(peg). Two alloy menuki(ornament) are on both side.
Saya:The saya(sheath) of the sword is made of wood. Synthetic silk Sageo has been tied around the bright copper kurigaga(knob) of the scabbed.The koiguchi has been hardened.
The sword can be as hard as to cut the meat with bones, paint bucket and bamboo; can be as sharp as to cut slice paper.It can be used for the real battle for its hardness, sharpness and flexibility and also an absolutely necessary as one of the collections or show it as a pride for its distinct hamon and exquisite grain on the blade.
