This sketchpad I got as part of a larger set. This one I did a couple of doodles on it. I photographed one of them to show you how the paper works. It is one of those types of papers that makes the graphite stain your hands. I originally drew with my woodless graphite pencil. I have only a couple. I do not remember when or where I got them. I probably still had them since high school. I switched to mechanical pencils since they erase well. If you want your pencil to last, this is the paper pad for you. The front cover is different in my photo because I painted on it with pens. I was a bit bored, so I decided to draw on the guy's face. People tend to do that on those who are asleep, and unable to defend themselves. I do not know why, maybe because it's fun. So, if you like drawing spare the poor fellow's face and doodle here instead.

• Can I draw with markers and pens on this pad?

  Both types of pens and markers then to bleed through the paper. So you cannot draw on both side of the paper if you want to use it in such a fashion. 

• Does this sketching pad thing ship within the United States of America?

  The company is located in California, so needless to say it ships within the great US of A. 

• What types of pencils work best with this paper pad?

  This paper pad works best with woodless graphite pencils. It also works with your traditional mechanical pencil. Then again, I am one of the few fellows who actually bothered to do complete drawings using only mechanical pencils. 

• I was wondering if I could use this paper for something else other than sketching with pencils?

  I suppose it also takes pen rather well. However, it was originally design for black sketching pencils. It can also work with coloring pencils too.
