This is a wonderful paper pad set. You can get two for the prize of one. It takes pens and other wet mediums. With this set you can make great use of your watercolor paints. It is a nice alternative to the traditional canvas and art panels. I got mine as part of a larger set. I just thought it would be good to observe the individual product. This is for those who only need watercolor paper. It's always best to buy the paper designed for watercolor. It may seem a bit redundant, but there comes a time when white printing paper does not cut it anymore. If you want to make a fancy painting or drawing you need to update your paper.

      Its paper that doesn't have any chemicals to give it its color, or lack thereof. Chemicals tend to interact with the watercolors, which is something to avoid, if you are making something that lasts. 

    • What other medias can be used with this paper?

      The paper can take pen and pencil rather well. It also accepts well, really watered down acrylics, and also gouache.

      The papers of this pad weight 140 lbs like it says on the cover. It means that it can handle wet mediums. Like watercolor paint. 

    • Can the papers in this paper pad easily removable?

      The paper pad is held with glue. The papers can be soften up on the top through usage. So, on a whole they are not easily removable. With some proper guidance and a blunt knife it can be done with ease.
