It is perfect for the self taught artists. If you are looking for a good how to book, in the accessories department, this is the one to get. The book covers footwear, hats, purses, jewelry and cosmetics. The book works well for both students and professional fashion illustrators. It has numerous step, by step sequencing.

It also has examples of how professionals do their fashion illustrations. Aside from teaching you how to draw items, the book mentions all the art supplies needed to render the drawings well. Thanks to this book, I learned about gouache. It helped me increase my inventory. Before then, I only knew of tempera, oil, watercolor and acrylics. Now, I learned about gouache. It is fun learning new skills. Learning about fashion accessories is also useful for illustrators. It would certainly jazz up your female character if she wore something aside from pearls.

  The book deals with jewelry, socks, shoes, make up, hand bags, hats, gloves and perfumes. If there is anything else I missed, I ask for forgiveness. It also deals with different fabrics as well.

  I ordered this book and it made it just fine to Florida, which is where I live. So, it does ship to the states.

  This book only lightly mentions children and guy fashion accessories. Like most fashion books, it focuses on women, the largest consumer of fashion stuff.

  The book has quite a number of how to draw pages. It is just about two pages, per each fabric or accessory examples.
