I wanted to show you 5 painters that you do not know about. They are academic painters. They get ignored since they worked during the time of the impressionism.
They stood out due to their beautiful rendering of fabrics. I made a video blog ranting about the beautiful dresses. I suppose it is not a topic that a lot of folks find interesting. Even so, I wanted to bore you with it.
I hope that it makes you smile. In this blog, I have 5 examples of each of their paintings. Their names are James Tissot, Edmund Blair Leighton, Auguste Toulmouche, Frederic Soulacroix and Adolphe Alexander Lesrel.
