Today, I was not too interested in making a serious blog. So, I decided to do a recap episode. Recap episodes are just a rehash of something you have already seen before. I still have not bothered to making my own painting series. I think I should try to do it, like Bod Ross style. He had the only painting show on the air. At least, the only one that I can remember. Everyone in the US knows Bob Ross. If you have never seen him, some of his episodes are on Netflix. More painters should make shows like him. People need more paint as you do shows. Those are usually very entertaining. Even in the real world, it is often that people hover over painters who are in the middle of their work. I used to experience this a lot when I was at University. Whenever I would start making my mangas in public, they would come and hover behind me from time to time. I already have a fancy camera and a tripod. I have everything needed to make my own show. Well, let us move right along shall we.

Now, back to this photo of mine. This is just about all the little things I felt like painting. The first thing I painted was my fairy box. I had originally meant to open and close it and use it like a box. When I added the liquitex varnish, the box got complexly sealed. As such, this box now doesn’t open. I did not want to force it because I liked how the final work came out. The second thing I painted was that bizarre jug with the mustache. My mother had gotten it from a fellow as a gift. It apparently came from Cuba. It looked all boring, and brown. As such, I decided to add acrylic colors to them. The colors I added to the house are just like the last house I lived in Cuba. My old house was yellow with white doors.

When I was little I learned the colors by describing the houses. On my way to my Nannie, father and I would describe the colors. The third thing I painted was that pestle and mortar. It was part of a set of items I got from the Punta Cana trip. We had to sit through one of those timeshares. We might have been interested, but there was an incident we saw while checking into the hotel. A fellow who had a timeshare was complaining about his room. He had bought a timeshare for quality rooms. The guys from the hotel, were like all not my problem. The beds in the hotel Bahia Principe were like slabs of wood, with cloth over them. Just when I though the Colombian beds were hard, we found beds that were even harder.

All the rooms all over the hotel are pretty much the same thing. I know this because a tour was part of the timeshare experience. The same thing can be said of the beds. If you pay more, you are closer to amenities. This doesn’t matter much because there are cars that take you all over the place. The buffets are pretty much the same thing. All, in all, it was a mixed bag. At least the pools were entertaining, even if the beaches were terrible. Anyhow, the pestle and mortar have dragons painted on them. On the inside I painted a universe. It was the first time that I used glitter with varnish. From then on, I have been adding more and more glitter to my paintings. The last thing I want to mention are my nesting dolls. It took me like a week to complete them. They were painted with acrylics, glitter and varnish. I hope you find this information useful. For now, I am trying to figure out what I am going to do with my clay. I prefer to know what I am going to do, than to guess it as I go along. Well, let us just move right along.
