Today was like a super long day. We spent the entire day entertaining a Cuban Amish. We were going to try to teach him how to do the website stuff. After giving him a brief summary of everything we do, he discovered that online stuff was not the magic bullet to his problems.
I think our little Amish Cuban or Cuban Amish, could do better as a country music star. He already looks like a gringo and he plays the guitar. The tune of his voice is perfect for country and folk music. He could also just sing his favorite, Spanish romantic songs and he would do just fine.
I was thinking of taking the chap to FIU to sing outside in the library. The Library is near the dinner place. It gets a lot of circulation as far as people are concerned. He could get a lot of exposure and even a gig. He needs some self confidence as all.
We took him to buy clothing. After two hours, he was able to find everything he needed. Once he was done, we took him to our house to hang out like normal people do. We showed him our silly fender guitar and he hated it. He likes better acoustic guitars.
Despite preferring acoustic guitar, he spent like 4 hours playing music. I think he just misses the music as all. He might have stayed longer, but mother kept dropping hints, and he eventually took them. He left around 9 PM. We drove him back to his home in Hialeah.
He is the nephew of our painter friend. He normally does short visits to the States. His family in this country are like super downers. One is always drunk and saying super depressing things, like a classical cliché. The other fellow is no fun at all because he is studying for his boards or whatever.
I don’t know if I am supposed to mention this in writing or whatever. Still, I have gotten into the habit of making my blog like a diary posts every so often. I have not decided whether I enjoyed the guy’s company or not. He was somewhat needy for attention, and I am the baby in the family.
I do not like people who steal focus from me. Still, after mentally reclassifying him as a little kid, I suppose it would not be too much torture to have him visit again. Regardless, he might be a good excuse to visit the Orlando Parks again.
I am quite eager for any excuse to return there. I want to play pokemon go there again. I think this is about it as far as my nonsense is concerned. All in all, it was just a super tiring day. I am a bit super bored around the edges.
