This is one of my few recent acrylic paintings. From time to time, I get a little something called inspiration. Trying to work without it is not really my style. Sometimes a combination of words, is enough to get going with that painting nonsense. In any case, I have been meaning to get more canvases to make more paintings.

There are still plenty of walls left to fill in my room. The featured painting is Alice inside her Head. I wanted to give it a dream like feeling. Alice is part of a mini series of paintings, all with the same character. It started with Alice in Prison. Now, she is getting out into the world or whatever. In this one however, she is inside her head, as her dreams and thoughts take form, or something.

In any case, I just thought it was a good representation of a combination of words I drew out of a hat or something. The leaves and stuff require a little bit more work, but they look decent enough. Some of the flowers have glitter in order to make them look amassing in the real world. There is a lot of iridescence in the paintings.

The photography cannot quite capture the experience of looking at the painting from different angles. As I mentioned before, the acrylics I use are Liquitex and US Art Supplies. I also use a bit of Winsor and Newton. The glitter I glue using Liquitex pouring medium. I use plenty of unusual color combinations, like purple and orange.

Both colors rarely feature in paintings, and I don’t know why. They are very nice colors, and so I try to use them from time to time. They also help for contrasting purposes. The painting took about two days to make. It looks a lot bigger than what it actually is. I tend to paint with small canvases and I use a very powerful, and old Fujifilm Camera.

The canvas is Arteza, which is pretty affordable. I think that is enough nonsense about the painting. As of lately, I have been like super bored. All the new video games are terribly boring, or maybe I am just bored of games as a whole. Bother person gave me the budget for my next doll. I have been thinking a bit as to which new bjd doll to get.

The issue is that there is no point in looking through them. I am not going to get the present ordered till October rolls around the corner. As far as gardening is concerned, my red rose bush looks as good as dead, which is a pity. On the plus side, the red Mexican sunflowers look better than ever. The wild cats like hanging out by them.

The pool went the way of the dodo, and that is the end of that story. We are no longer going to gym, because of the obvious reasons. Its not going to end till people stop being inconsiderate jerks. I said it at the start of this mess, and I say it once again. I suppose there are some things that cannot be helped. On a side note, I recently published a new children’s book.

It is called Scary Cat and the Search for the Ooohh. There is a creepy sound in the woods, and it is up to Scary Cat to investigate it. I also published the second volume of the Furies. You are going to see the rest of it over the couple of months, if all things go according to plan. I got a copy for myself of the book to take the product photos. I think this is enough of my nonsense. I need to get around to finish editing my fantasy book, so I can get started on the last book of the series.
