I did a new Azur Lane poll. I asked the folks to pick a country that they liked. I would then design an Azur Lane character based on their choice. I narrowly focused it on Latin America.

OF all the Latin American countries that appeared in the poll, the winner was Brazil. Brazil won by a narrow margin of three votes. I did a little research. I chose the Minas Geraes as the ship.

This ship fought in WWI or was it 2? I forget. I combined the modern Navy inform with elements from the past and from Carnival. The rig attachment is based on a Carnival ornamental armor.

Her battle cloak is also inspired on Carnival feathers. I added the national bird on her shoulder. It is the rufous-bellied thrush, not the Toucan. I added a navy sword and blow dart as melee weapons.

Bow darts are used by the natives of the Amazon. I wanted to allude to the Natives with this weapon. With the costume done, all I needed was the face. I based the character on my favorite Brazilian telenovela Xica da Silva.

I made an anime version of Xica. This is everything that went into the creation of this Azur Lane fanart. You can see the video of this fanart in my Artsy Sister Youtube Channel. Please like and Subscribe. My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
