As of lately, it has been raining a lot. A big storm came in from the North, and now it rains. It might be more or less good, except for plants that might get root rot. One of my climbing fines recently flourished. It is getting a decent amount of root. A couple of days ago, I started watching the X-men animated TV show.
Disney Plus has it. I saw the show a long time ago. Back then, I could barely speak, let alone understand the language. It just seemed cool, and colorful. Seeing it again, I can appreciate how good it was. Most TV shows these days are just terrible.
This is why I do not bother even trying to see anything new. It is very rare to run into something good. Our watch scheduling is seeing the Dog Whisperer and then seeing El Sultan, which is a Brazilian Telenovela. That country produces the crème de la crème, as far as Telenovelas are concerned.
The Sultan one ran for like 300 episodes, each about 50 minutes long. The new season is not really doing it for me too much. It has all the melodrama one expects from a Telenovela. The new book is progressing a little bit slow. The same thing can be said of the drawing projects.
I just tend to slow down a bit during the winter time. We are going into a bit of an austerity period, since taxes are around the corner. I just have to work with the supplies I have back home. I am almost done with the mixed media notebook I was using for these drawings.
I have been brainstorming a short story picture book. Hopefully, I can get it up and running, successfully. The drawing is based on a silly bald eagle. I looked at the eagle and noticed that it did have head feathers. As such, it is not truly bald. Vultures are bald. Anyhow, I hope you like this new anime drawing.
It was made with fancy markers , and Stabilo fineliner pens. The drawing is one of those silly bird dresses I designed. I do a lot of random things for the hell of it. I got nothing else going on in my life, other than doing artsy projects.
I still have not tried to learn how to sew, even though I really want to. There is just a finite number of time in one’s life, and time must always be used wisely. You use it or lose it.
