Barcelo Maya Palace Beach

It has been a long time since I went on an actually good vacation. Barceló was an actually amassing place. Pity, that this time only exists in this memory and in this photo. Some things cannot be helped. All matter is subject to corruption and radioactive decay. The same can be said of human's morality, or lack thereof. I am sorry I woke up in a bit of a sour mood. If you look at things objectively, security and peace is just an illusion. One can feel safe even surrounded by lions.
However, there is a reason why it is called feeling safe, instead of being safe. People put too much trust on their feelings. They put a mask of bliss before them, not desiring to see the world for what it is. The booze also helps, as well as other substances. Just take this pristine beach. It looks safe, but give a few steps and there comes the barracudas. Most people have an unspoken fear of them.
Little do they know that barracudas know the difference between fish and human. They only approach humans out of curiosity and boredom. Mostly, the latter. Sharks also get the same negative treatment. Humans are more likely to be bitten by other humans than by sharks. Aside from other humans, the biggest killer of men are mosquitoes. Those little buggies must be taken seriously. The long and short of it is that it would be nice to visit that place once more. When I refer to that place, I refer to the Barceló that was during that time and place.
