For the last couple of days, I have been pretty mellowed out and the like. I wanted to have something inspiring to write or say. I have been a little bit distracted seeing nonsense on the TV. I am still working in the short stories. On average, the stories are about three pages long.
Some of the later ones I was able to extend to 5 pages. Making long short stories is not the ideal goal. Anything ranging to the 40 page mark is already a novella. Short stories on a whole have to be ideally short. I first started fiddling with the idea a couple of years ago. I published my first collection of shorts stories.
I am now going for the second collection. This one is a little bit shorter than the first book I published. I suppose I maybe should make the text bigger to make the book artificially shorter. There is also the matter of the introduction and the index. Both would help to add a couple of pages into it. I think this is about it as far as my nonsense is concerned.
