Today, I made a new Hollow Knight fanart. I do these fanarts on a weekly basis. Usually on Tuesday.

If the drawing is more complicated, it gets done by Wednesday. I have developed a blogging routine. I like routines. My early life was marked by instability.

So, routines help me feel safe. Let’s move things along. When I was young, I saw the movie Dirty Dancing and I really liked it.

I didn’t get much of the plot. I saw the movie in English. At the time, I didn’t speak the language well.

Regardless, this is the type of movie that you do not need to understand to enjoy it. Girl meets boy.

Both start dancing together and they fall in love. It is a simple plot that can easily be conveyed without words. I am a big believer in the power of visual language.

You know you made a movie plot that makes sense, if it can be understood without dialogue.

This brings me to this Hollow Knight fanart. I decided to combine two things I like: The Dirty Dancing movie and the Hollow Knight game.

The two dancers are Hornet and Quirrel. I have them as a mating pair in my fanarts. The first time I showed them together they were vacationing in Mexico.

After they came back from their vacation, their friendship evolved into something else. Now, they are Dirty Dancing.

These are all the silly thoughts that went into the development of this silly fanart. I hope you find it amusing.

My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
