Hollow knight Silksong X Utagawa Kuniyoshi Fanart

Written by Teresita Blanco (The Artsy Sister)

I was in the mood to do something a little bit more complicated. This fanart was supposed to come out around Halloween. Things kept coming up, mostly an illness. This is why I only got around to completing this fanart right now. The fanart was based on an Ukiyo-e  print by Utagawa Kuniyoshi.

It is called Mitsukuni Defying the Skeleton Specter Invoked by Princess Takiyasha. In this version, Hornet is the one summoning the Specter or Ghost. He showed up in his Giant God Abyss form. Lace and Shankra are freaking out because he looks so menacing.

I find it cute that Ghost always rises from his grave to go keep his siblings safe. He should have another cameo appearance in the Hollow Knight Three. I think it should focus on the Pure Vessel going on a solo adventure. He can even have a giant and a small form that you can switch on the fly. This has nothing to do with the fanart, but whatever. I drew the figures closer to make the drawing horizontal. I hope you find it amusing.
