The rains have been both good and bad for the front garden. I think I need a lot more mulch to deal with the grass problem. I am still a little bit peeved about it. I can see the grass there, growing, and growing. Bermuda grass is quite persistent. There is a lot of different grasses in the front garden.
Anyhow, I wanted to show you my new rose. It is the same white rose, but it has a different color. The silly sticks gave it a slight red coloration. I do not know why they color the silly sticks red. Maybe it has something to do with the plant food. This reminds me that I have to feed all my plants this weekend.
I also have to feed the back garden. As far as water is concerned, I will only bother to water the back garden when I feed it. I am going to count on the rains to do the rest. I have too many floral photographs. They certainly do work as a filler. I recently added a bunch of how to paint books.
It is my hope that you find them useful for your projects. Most of the how to books refer to drawing. People are more familiar with drawing. It is a bit more pop around the edges. I do have a couple of books dealing with digital art. If you are interested, do check out the collection.
The weather has been a bit brisk, with storms coming in from the North. Most of them are thunderstorms. This is problematic for people who live in Florida. Florida gets a lot of lightning around the edges. There was also that time when a poor fellow or two got struck.
He went out to smoke, but then the lightning got him. You know what they say about that terrible hobby. I can see of better things to do with my time. I have never done a thing that a fellow tells me. I do not have the desire to be cool or admired. I do not base my own worth on what people think of me.
There will always be a critic or whatever. Today or tomorrow, I am going to see if I get a day job. I applied for one. IF this occurs, you are going to see a lot less of me around the edges. I will do my best as far as managing my website is concerned. It will not have anything to do with my Major.
It is just a classic white collard job, or maybe it is blue. I don’t remember the semantics. It has been quite a bit since I have been left to my own devices. I would not be having this conversation with you, if you bought more of my books. For every book you buy, I get one day closer to my dream of not needing a day job. I think this is just about it.
