This is a nice anime drawing of mine. It features a maiden with a dress akin to the Northern Goshawk. I also added the same colors to the facial makeup. The goshawk is a type of Raptor. During the middle ages, only the nobles were able to own these type of falcons.
This bird lives in the temperate zones of the Northern Hemisphere. The goshawk mainly likes to eat doves and pigeons. The silly birds can live up to 27 years. I think this is enough information on the pretty bird. I chose to design the dress on the bird because of the patterns.
I think it ended up looking rather nice. The drawing itself was made with those useful markers. The skin was drawn with Winsor and Newton markers. The black lines were drawn with Sakura Pigma micron pens, while the rest were made with Stabilo pens.
The paper I used was Strathmore mixed media paper. I first made the drawing with pencil. I then erased the lines and I added the pens over it. This allowed for clean lines. As far as my life is concerned, I am working on a new stop motion video. In this one, I will not recycle any animation.
It took about six hours to take the pictures. The doll was specially uncooperative. It sucks when the dolls start moving on their own, against your own will. I blame the strings, but mom thinks the doll is going Toy Story on me. It will only be a matter of time before it starts taking.
Anyhow, I took all the photos during the late afternoon. This allowed for some color consistency. The subject matter is going to be different than the last video. I am going to be trying new things for a bit. Eventually, I will find a theme that is useful, or I will follow down a random path.
Sometimes it is fun to keep people guessing. The next volume of the Scary Cat is progressing. As for the final Saturnastra book, it is still stuck in chapter one. It usually takes me a bit to warm up. It is going to be a while before it gets published. I am currently editing a bit the old Saturnastra volumes.
Once we get to the last book already published, you will see the other books I had already written. It is all nice things to look forward to in the future. As far as new publications are concerned, the manga and the Scary Cat book take priority. I hope you are having fun in your life, and keep that chin up.
