I did new pouring art painting. I applied a bit of color theory to the mix. Color theory just makes it easier for you to choose the colors that work well for your painting. The first artwork was done with black and white.
The second was a monochromatic color scheme. When folks think of monochrome, they imagine that it is black and white. It is just as the name states. You are using one color.
It can be any that you like. I chose red. I then did a complimentary color scheme of red and green. The other one was an analogous composition.
This means using colors that are next to each other in the color wheel. I chose red, yellow and orange. The other one is split complimentary colors.
It is combining analogous and complimentary color schemes. You add to your analogous colors the complimentary color of the center hue.
The final one is triatic color schemes. They are red, yellow and blue. They are also orange green and purple. I hope you find this useful in your artworks. Bye, bye and God bless.
