It is interesting today how much attention is paid to certain writers and the like. These are writers who did literature, instead of writing a regular best seller. I do not see why literature and best sellers have to be mutually exclusive. Then again, there will always be snobs and the like. Still, there is such a thing a terrible popular book. I have not been keeping up with my readings. Lately, all the books I try to read bore me. This is why I aim to write a book that is not boring to read. If I am starting to get bored while reading it, then I stop and come back to it at another time. There is just one thing that annoys me while writing. I hate it when people look at me over the shoulder to see what I write. The same thing happens to me when I am drawing.
It feels like they are invading my personal space or whatever. The funny thing is when you get that feeling when nobody is around. Don’t you sometimes get the impression that something is behind him you? When you turn around, you see nothing is there. This usually happens to me when I am drawing. I do not know why the ghost people or whatever find it fascinating. Regular people too. From time to time, I would draw while I was at University. Whenever a fellow was passing by, he would stop to look at my drawing for a bit. It was a bit disconcerting and somewhat annoying. I have been thinking of making videos featuring me drawing or something. It would certain jazz up the site, to have instructional videos or whatever. People always find useful to see people drawing and explaining things as they go.
I have a big camera and a tripod. So, the videos would have pretty decent quality and the like. All that would be missing is to stich it all together with Animoto or something like it. I think I will just host it here. Youtube is a bit of a heel, as of late ,ever since Google bought it. I will not go into detail about it. Maybe I can do something like Bod Ross, and have my own drawing show. I probably will host it in Amazon Video or something. I am just thinking about. I suppose I could also talk about the art of writing and the like. Then again, there is not trick to it. Just don’t go crazy with the descriptions, and try to keep the talking as natural as possible. Also, try to keep the preachiness to a minimum. If people realize they are being preached to, then you are doing it wrong. When a book starts preaching to me, that is my cue to tab out. I only tolerate preachiness in my Bible. Everywhere else, I find it annoying.
I think that is just about everything. The drawing is a little new number of mine. It features a Spanish maiden in an orange dress. It makes me think that there is not a lot of dresses that feature the color orange. I do not see why. Orange is a pretty color. I think I might one day settle down and make a nice collection of dresses or whatever featuring that color. I life fashion, in the way a girl likes pretty dress. I do not bother to keep up with the junk that modern day people come up with. I am still stuck in the 90s, and the early 2000s. Beyond there, is an abyss of junk. The maiden was drawn with Reeves coloring pencils, and a couple I got from a set of Art 101. The main sketching pencil is Royal and Langnickel. The other ones are Derwent Coloursoft pencils. For the skin, I chose my Lyra coloring pencils. The fineliner pens is Sakura Pigma Micron. The color pens are Staedtler. I hope you find this information useful.
