Two New Sci fi Movie I saw Frankenstein and Predator Badlands

Both movies feature protagonists with daddy issues. Their goal is to kill their old man at the end of their film. It is funny how both films have that in common. Then again, the abusive dad has become a cliché at this point. Both movies are long, but not boring.
They also have a decent amount of action set pieces against CG monsters. I also like that were wasn’t a single mating scene in both films. Frankenstein has a nice scenery and a hopeful type of ending. I like the scenery a lot, specially at the beginning.
It goes a little nuts explaining how the creature was made. This is something that was not mentioned in the original novel. I do not want to spoil the ending. Then again, we are all familiar with the Frankenstein story. It has been done in movie form more than 20 times.
It was also one of the first movies ever made. The Predator Badlands movie was a lot of fun. There was a lot of call back to the Alien movies, minus the Xenamorph. I also found a T-Rex skull in the predator trophy room.
They should send the Predators to Jurassic Park just for giggles. This movie also shows you how to defeat a creature that has Wolverine like healing factors. It explains that once a Predator chooses a prey, he is not able to return home until he gets his trophy. Anyhow, I hope you find these movie reviews amusing.
