I made new ink art themed After Valentine’s day. This time I focused on gift ideas. It is a bit of a cliché.
Still, I made roses and a chocolate box ink art. I used pixiss ink and paper.
I chose black paper to make these artworks. I started by spraying the paper with white ink.
This would allow the colored inks to be visible against the black backgrounds.
The inks pigments are a little transparent. So, they need a little extra help for them to stand out.
In the first painting, I drew the rose pattern with white ink. I then colored them with red, pink, blue and yellow ink.
I added some metallic paints to the roses to make them stand out. I added silver ink to the blue rose.
For the red rose, I used copper. For the yellow rose, I used golden ink.
I think it ended up looking rather nice. In the second painting, I attempted to make an opened chocolate box.
The top of the box was made with red ink. I used blue ink for the inside of the box. The chocolate centers ended up losing a bit of definition.
So, let us say that the chocolates melted. I added two of them outside the chocolate box.
I then used golden ink to add details to the red box. I wrote the word love.
I also added a few dots and lines for décor. Lastly, I added silver dots to the blue heart. This helped define it a little better.
All in all, I think that the chocolate box painting came out alright.
I made a video of my new ink arts. I also took photos of them. Just of the dry and wet version of the paintings.
I also photographed a few details. I made a video of my artworks. They are in my Artsy Sister Youtube Channel and my Teresita Blanco books Tiktok.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
