Batman Beyond is overdue for a live action film. For its first film, here are my suggestions. The first one is Spellbinder. He is a bit like a futuristic Scarecrow. He uses hypnosis to mind control people into committing crimes for him.
He can also conjure illusions. A live action version of him would be quite amusing. He is also a psychologist. However, his motivations are a little bit more down to earth. He just wants more money. Inque could function in an origin story type of setting.
Instead of jokers, Terry’s father could get killed by Inque. In the live action version, she could have killed him following blight’s orders. She could get an enhancement to her powers, akin to the skill sets of clay face. Her fights are usually quite amusing.
They require a bit more thinking on Batman’s part, since she is a skilled mercenary. Mad Stan doesn’t need to change anything for his live action movie counterpart. He embodies all our frustration with technology. Oracle could also make a cameo in the film.
Well, her futuristic version. If they need her to do an action set, she can have a surrogate body or good dexterity on the wheelchair, Joe Swanson style. Payback is another fun villain. His live action version could be a bit more murder than his cartoon version.
Like in the animation, he targets adults who bully children. Maybe his father could be Spellbinder. This isn’t true in the lore, but you can be flexible with lore in the movie version. I also like that he had a laser whip.
Anything with lasers is rather amusing. I hope you find these suggestions amusing. My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. There is a video of this topic in my Artsy Ssiter Youtube channel. Do not forget to give a like and a subscribe.
