This weekend we went to the Cheesecake Factory in Dadeland Mall. We wanted to get mother her Mother’s Day present early.
So, we figured that we might as well eat in one of our favorite restaurants. It had been a bit of a while since last we visited.
By removing alcoholic drinks, it didn’t make it to the 200 bucks. The food there is something that we would consider a tad expensive.
It is a good thing that we do not eat out so often. We like to reserve it for at least once a week. If we don’t get out of the house, at least once a week, I start turning into a weird recluse.
I need my weekly brush with civilization, whether I want to or not. The only thing that lures me out of my house is the promise of a good meal.
Anyhow, we had our meal around six. There was a big line, as usual, but we made reservations. So, we didn’t have to wait long to get seated.
We started with the daily bread. The photograph shows just about all the bread I ate.
Since we were so hungry, the folks started eating before I had a chance to take photographs of the meal.
I got to get content for my website, wherever I might find it. These foodie blogs are something that everyone likes.
Every person needs to eat and know where to find decent food. We got two appetizers, the mozzarella sticks and the avocado rolls.
For the main course, I decided to try out the shrimp. My brother had a different sandwich, and my mother had the chili.
For being low fat, the chili had a lot of grease. So, that was a bummer. The fries were freshly made. It was really nice.
All in all, it was a good dining experience. We took our desserts home. They were very generous with the whip cream.
Mother had a lot of nice things to say about the Godiva chocolate cheesecake. As for me, I had the usual dulce de leche cheesecake.
I do not eat chocolate, so, this limits a lot of my cheesecake options. I think I ranted enough about my food for one day.
This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
