This is a collection of stuff I made. I had some clay I bought years ago lying around. I recently got around to working with it. I hope you find these items somewhat entertaining. I have not worked with clay since I was 12 years old.
I used to amuse myself a lot with the clay back in Cuba. My grandma used to provide a lot of natural clay for me to play with. Whenever I finished with the clay, I would store it in the refrigerator. This would help it retain its moisture.
I never did make something that was completed. I just simply enjoyed molding and shaping it, and then destroying it again. I was a little bit like a Buddhist in that fashion. Recently, I felt like making something solid.
The first things I made were a couple of clay beads. I need to add color to it. The last things I made were these fairy items. Most people make fairy chairs. I decided to make a bed, a river and a cave too. I added a bunch of glitter to it.
To bind the colors, I added Liquitex glossy varnish. I think the photo could be a little bit better. Today, it has been raining a lot. This messes with the light a lot. Everything looks dark and gray. The good thing about it is the actual rain.
It is all very enjoyable and relaxing. The roses perked up. I finally was able to recognize flowers that are low on water. It is something important to always be careful with.
The roses are starting to open. There is one that looks just about right. The rose bush is a very thirsty plant. I think this is just about it, as far as my nonsense is concerned.
