Today, I did a new Hollow Knight fanart. It is a parody of the Pulp Fiction movie poster.

Instead of Pulp Fiction, I called it Bug Fiction. I was between using Emilitia or Hornet for this cover. I ended up settling for Emilitia.

She is a bit of a troll. She seems like the type of woman that would playfully torment the underlings of her rich, gangster husband.

Once I chose the character, all that was left was to make the drawing. Despite looking simple, it was pretty difficult to execute.

There is a lot of foreshortening in this poster. To make this drawing happen, I just mentally partitioned the drawing.

I started with the foreground objects, before working my way backwards. I had a rough outline of were Emilitia had to be.

All that remained was to draw the other objects in relation to her current location. It looks seamless, but it was not.

I had to erase a lot during the drawing process. Once Emilitia was done, the rest was easy. I made the background similar to her bedroom in the City of Tears.

The source of light was the window and one of her glowing red flowers. I think that a little bit of red liven up the place. Instead of a book, she is reading a Wanderer’s Journal.

This is what the books look like in the Hollow Knight world. Her cigarette box has Zote’s face.

He has a rough voice, so he is definitely a smoker. I think this is everything worth mentioning about this fanart.

I hope you like it. My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
