I made new ink art. It is based on sea slugs. Sea slugs have a lot of pretty colors.
So, they seemed like a good animal to paint. The green slug is called Costasiella Kuroshimae or Leaf Slug.
They have a cute green color. I like the cute little eyes that this slug has. I tried to capture it with my ink.
They are found in Japan and the Philippines. This slug likes tropical climates. The second slug is a Flabellinopsis iodinea or a Spanish shawl.
It has a cool purple and orange body. You can find it in California. I am going to rant about the paintings next.
The green slug was an interesting project. I painted the shape of the body first. I added the background next.
I painted the face with silver ink. I added black dots to make the eyes.
The dots grew a little bigger due to the wetness of the ink. It still came out alright.
I added a blue aura to the slug. I then added green dots to the body.
The last thing I did was add the dots on top of the tentacles.
The second painting followed a similar pattern.
I painted the purple body. I then painted the background.
I then added the red tentacles in the body.
I made a video and short of my paintings.
You can see them in my Artsy Sister Youtube and Tiktok channels.
I hope you find my new paintings amusing. My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and Go bless.
