New Background Christmas and Valentines Day

I did a new acrylic background for doll theater. The theme of this one was Christmas and Valentine’s Day. One half is one thing and the other a different holiday.
Both events take place during the winter. So, it worked just as well. I left the hearts simplified.
I didn’t want to steal attention from the roses. Above them, I painted a couple of Christmas ornaments. I added glitter into them to make them pop.
The glitter was added right on top of the wet paint. This allowed it to stick to the acrylic once it finished drying.
This is my last background for the time being. Making those project boards is a time-consuming process.
I need that time to work on my manga. I also need to think up a new volume for Scary Cat.
