It has been a while since I photographed my butterflies. Well, they are not mine per say. They just live in my garden. This Sunday the illumination looked just right. There was also a healthy number of them clustered in a small area.
So, it seemed like a good a time as any to photograph them. At first, I was aiming to photograph my zebra butterflies. Unfortunately, they were not in a cooperating type of mood.
So, I photographed these orange butterflies and a monarch one that visited the backyard. The monarch butterfly was especially beautiful today. I was able to shoot her from various angles as she went from flower to flower.
All in all, it was a good day. I hope you find my butterfly photography amusing. My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
Update
This morning I went out to photograph the zebra butterflies. I spent an entire hour chasing after them. Eventually, I was able to photograph these two butterflies. One has intact wings and the other has been pecked by a lot of birds. She is still hanging in there.
I hope that you find these photos amusing.
