Hollow Knight Joaquin Sorolla Painting

I did a new Hollow Knight fanart. It is based on an impressionism painting by Joaquin Sorolla. Unlike other impressionist artists, he worked with warm earth tones. This is best noticed in this beach painting.
He sketched the figures from life. In this painting, a guy is helping a maiden remove her wet bathing suit. He is holding up the towel to wrap her up, while also leering at her. In my version, the bather is Hornet and the other person is Shankra.
I simplified the background by removing the other humans. This made it a more intimate moment between two figures. I hope that this fanart makes you smile.
I was over all going for a beach theme. I didn’t want to do a photo or a movie poster reference. So, I did an art parody instead. This is about it as far as my fanart is concerned. My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
