Miami Beach on a Good Day

It is very rare that Miami Beach has perfect weather. Some days it is too windy, other days too sunny. From time to time, you get a rare combination. It is cloudy, with decent winds and not too sunny. It also helps to have the low tide. During that day, there are no waves.
This combines to make quite a beautiful day. This is a photo I took of such a day a couple of years ago. I no longer go to Miami Beach. It is a little too far away. I also feel more comfortable at home. If all the stars align, I am going to go back to Barcelo in Mexico. We are going to travel with people we know.
Then again, the hotel is in Costa Maya. It is pretty far away from the borderlands. This at least is useful to avoid problems in Mexico. The road there has a lot of checkpoints and people with Machine guns. The hotel itself has a lot of guards, but you only notice it when they pop up.
We saw them when were talking to an outsider that was going to take us to Xcaret. This made me feel rather safe indeed. Still, Mexico is a lot safer than going to Paris and maybe London too. It is a pity indeed. Well, I am just done around the edges. My back hurts a bit. It is rather painful indeed. I hope you like this beautiful photograph I took.
