My Early People Pencil Drawings

I started drawing at a young age. I only got past stick figures when I started High School. A teacher gave me a sketchpad.
She was tired of me drawing on the side of the notebook. I do not remember the name of that teacher.
I do not remember a lot of things about the past. During my formative years, I experimented a bit with drawing live humans.
Regardless of how much I tried, my humans just looked terrible in realistic style. I was never able to render a person in a believable fashion.
This is why I eventually transitioned into anime. Then again, I find that normal looking humans just look ugly on paper, or maybe they come out ugly because of my lack of skills.
These drawings are all based on live people. The drawing of the maiden with all the clutter is a portrait of my teacher. She was spacing out, while thinking of all her terrible life choices.
Since she was standing still for so long, I was able to get this nice profile drawing. For a time, I tried to sketch students while they were at their desk.
I got tired of drawing students that were sleeping. The other drawings are based on photographs. I wasn’t able to deliver a proper mimicry of life. The one with the folks partying feature my father and my mother.
The drawing of a guy and a creepy bird is just my brother. As you may have noticed, I do not have a self-portrait. I hate my face so; I rarely bother to draw it.
