Ink Art Wet: Fireworks and Mantis
I did new ink art. Here you can see my mantis and some fireworks. Fourth of July only lasts for a day. So, I didn’t do that many artworks. It had been a while since I did ink art. Ink Art Mantis: Asian Ant Mantis Nymph and Violin Mantis
I made new ink art. This is a little baby Mantis. It is mimicking an ant. They live among ants until they become big enough to hunt. I painted a cute one on top of a leaf. I added glitter in key spots. I wanted to make my lovely little mantis sparkle. The second artwork features two different flavors of Violin Mantis. I painted them on black paper. Baby Orchid and Adult Mantis Ink Art
Baby animals are typically cute. This little Mantis is adorable, if you like ants. He cosplays as an ant, until he grows big enough to hunt. Their adult form resembled an orchid. I started by painting the background. He is standing on a little green leaf. The background is the sunset. I also painted the adult version. I used black paper to capture the vivid pinks. I made new ink art. I was in a mantis type of mood. I painted a jeweled flower mantis. It has a lot of pretty color. So, it seems like the perfect subject to paint. Most folks paint butterflies.
